What to Expect from a Professional Treatment
Survey & Nest Location
The technician locates the nest — in loft spaces, wall cavities, air bricks, under roof tiles, in garden sheds, or underground — and assesses the size and activity level before selecting the correct treatment approach.
Professional Insecticide Application
We use professional-grade synthetic pyrethroid dust (or liquid formulation for accessible nests) applied directly into the nest entrance. The active ingredient is carried back into the nest by returning wasps within 2–4 hours, resulting in complete colony death.
Nest Removal (where accessible)
Once the colony is confirmed dead — typically 24–48 hours after treatment — we return to physically remove the nest where it is safely accessible. Nests inside sealed wall cavities are left in place as they present no risk once the colony is eliminated.
